HOW TO UPDATE LENOVO A6000 TO ANDROID LOLLIPOP OFFICIAL


MODEL:LENOVO A6000
ANDROID:5.0.2
ROM TYPE:OFFICIAL VIBE UI

FEATURES:
1.OTG(we just got the option,I am not sure that it will wok or not)
2.BATTERY SAVING OPTION
AND MANY MORE


                         INSTRUCTIONS:
1.FIRST DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE FILE(from link below)
2.COPY THE FILE TO EXTERNAL SD CARD
3.GO TO STOCK RECOVERY(switch off your device and press and hold volume up and down and power)
4.WIPE DATA AND CACHE
5.SELECT THE LAST OPTION(apply update from sd card)
6.UPDATE WILL FLASH THE LOLLIPOP
IT WILL SAY INSTALLATION ABORTED AFTER PATCHING FIRMWARE IMAGES...
DON'T WORRY,JUST IGNORE IT
7.REBOOT YOUR DEVICE

AND FINALLY ENJOY

AFTER INSTALLING THIS LOLLIPOP ROM YOU CANNOT GO TO ANY CUSTOM RECOVERY... SO FOR GOING BACK TO STOCK KK FLASH TWRP FROM HERE  AND AFTER THAT FOLLOW THIS GUID

    Dear Devs...

    Could you suggest me how to install custom recovery after flashing this Lollipop update.

    It seems my custom recovery missing/deleted.

    To enter the recovery it stuck at "Lenovo Powered by Android". Then I should remove the battery to restart my device.

    I also done flashing recovery using Minimal ADB and Fast Boot. But still cannot have the custom recovery.

    hey guys it works flawlessly... just boot to cwm and flash it if it is not being flashed by the stock recovery.. i couldnt flash it in the stock rec.. so i used cwm to do it... and other thing.. after download extract the zip and copy only the system.zip file to phone and flash it..

      After trying 10 different methods to install lollipop update i tried it as per you (specifically copying of system.zip file ) and at last it worked Thank You So Much Arvind Balaji

    How to root Lenovo a6000 plus lollipop.I have upgraded from kitkat to lollipop now i unable to root my phone cause no kingroot,iroot,even minimal adb cwm also not working.and unable to flash kitkatrom also cause error aborted.
    Please help me???

      For CWM Backup
      Transfer the CWM backup from Phone to PC.
      Extract system.ext4.tar file with any of the archive apps like Winrar or 7zip, you will get the system folder of your device containing all the files.
      Gather the boot.img from the CWM backup.
      Now collect a META-INF folder from any custom ROM which is made for your device. Make sure you get the correct Meta-Inf folder, else the Zip won’t work and might worsen the condition of your device.
      Select the META-INF, System folders and the boot.img and right click your mouse and select add to Archive.
      In the Archive settings, choose the extension of the compressed file as Zip (Make sure of this part)
      That’s it, your flashable Zip is now ready and you can flash it using any custom recovery.

    Lenovo a6000 Otg not working ..checked with sandisk..updated officially ..it has only options in settings to Mount n erase otg but doesn't mount 😐😐😐

    I have a problem.. I didn't get the lolipop update officially.. I doenloaded from here and flashed it.. But now i have official update s54 but its failing. Saying your phone cannit switch carriers.. What's it about and hoe to fix it? I have stock lolipop and recovery, non rooted
