How to install twrp(custom recovery) on lenovo A6000 lollipop

How to Install TWRP Recovery on Lenovo A6000/Plus lollipop

Android:5.0.2
Recovery type:TWRP
Credits:Team win

  • Take a backup of your personal data (media, contacts, etc)
  • Keep your device charged more than 50 %
  • Goto Settings and About Device and device information and then press/click Build Number 8-10 times until you get the message “Developer mode active“
  • Goto ; Settings> Developer Options > USB Debugging(enable)
  • Connect your Lenovo A6000 smartphone to your PC and install the application (CDROM) which you can see in your My Computer/This PC.
  • Setup ADB and Fastboot drivers on your PC from HERE
  • Download the following  twrp (recovery.img)

STEPS TO INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY ON LENOVO A6000 LOLLIPOP

1.EXTRACT TWRP.RAR  (Download from HERE )
2.copy recovery.img to C:Program Files (x86)Minimal ADB andFastboot or C:Program FilesMinimal ADB and Fastboot directory
3.3.Open C:Program Files (x86)Minimal ADB and Fastboot directory and right clickon py_cmd.exe and Run As Administrator.

4.Now in the command box type  the following :
     adb devices

5.Now type in the command box
      adb reboot bootloader











This will reboot your device into Bootloader / Fastboot Mode

 
6.type in the command box
  fastboot boot recovery.img



               

             after this command you will be booted into twrp now click on reboot and select bootloader         

7:now type this comand
  fastboot flash recovery recovery.img



  Done!!you have successfully flashed twrp in lenovo a6000/plus lollipop

    install Kingroot .apk and root - works in Lollipop too or Kingoroot.apk works in Kitkat

    I have 4 version of Kingroot but no one can root my lenovo A6000 Plus....
    Version Lists :
    1) 4.5.0.902
    2) 4.5.0.803
    3) 4.0.1.237
    4) 4.1

      just extract it and you will get recovery.img file
      now follow the step 2

    King root app doesn't root my lenovo a6000 plus....

    Hi Dudes, I'm New To This Android Development Department. I'm Having Lenovo A6000 Plus, This Is My First Android Mobile, Now I Want To Root My Mobile, Recently I've Updated It To Lollipop Version 5.0.2, Before Rooting My Mobile I Want To Backup Original Stock ROM Of My Mobile, And I Need Android Version 4.4.4 Stock ROM For Lenovo A6000 Plus, If Anyone Having Please Post That Download Link Here, [or] Please Say How To Backup Original Stock ROM Of My Mobile Without Rooting?

      sorry bro we don't have A6000 plus device so we cant provide you stock rom
      but you can backup your rom using custom recovery

      OK.. Can you say? How to backup Stock ROM using custom recovery? Give me a step by step procedures... Then I'll provide Stock ROM Of Lenovo A6000 Plus...

      But I've one doubt if I flashed Stock ROM again can I get back stock recovery?

      after flashing above recovery
      flash stock kk and flash kk custom recovery(cwm or philz)
      after that you can flash any custom roms

    hey i just follwed the twrp step i installed twrp on my lenovo a6000plus kitkat 4.4.4
    questions
    1) how to open Twrp again?
    2) can i flash CM21.1 in my lenoovo a6000 plus kitkat 4.4.4
    3) can this same twrp to flash CM 12.1
